Alexandros-Georgios Asimakopoulos, Mr. born in 1991, is a Mathematician by training, and currently a Researcher associate at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina.
Training: Alexandros obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Mathematics at the Kapodistrian University of Athens (completed in January 2017). After that he enrolled in the MSc in Biostatistics (completed in May 2020) from the Department of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His Master Thesis is entitled “Mendelian randomization study of dietary factors and risk of colorectal cancer” and was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Konstantinos K. Tsilidis.
Research interests: His research interests are in evidence synthesis and biostatistics in general, emphasizing on developing models meta-analysis and network meta-analysis.
