Ourania Koutsiouroumpa

Ourania Koutsiouroumpa, Ms. born in 1995, is a Mathematician by training, and currently a PhD candidate at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina.

Training: Ourania obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Mathematics at the University of Ioannina (completed in Sepetember 2018). After that she enrolled in the MSc in Biostatistics (completed in September 2021) from the Department of Medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Her Master Thesis is entitled “Bayesian inference in linear and generalized linear models” and was  conducted under the supervision of Prof. Meligotsidou Loukia.

Research interests: Her research interests are in evidence synthesis and biostatistics in general, emphasizing on developing models for single arm trials and network meta-analysis.
